You need to use the right BAD for the right application. TThere is no one size fits all. If you use the lightest, the #265, then you better be using them with a torsion style stinger kill spring. They arent designed to be used without. You could get by on a #385 if no spring, but better with #645 at a 350 lb release.
And while you at it, use a supermagnum for all canine snaring, they flatten everything regularly.
But must have a Stinger of some sort on there.

The 2022 Canadian results were consistent with the results obtained from North Dakota in 2015. The following results are based upon the averages of testing from both jurisdictions.
