^^^^^^^ Agreed.
Since our nation's leaders have decided at our national level that enforcing certain laws are discretionary, up to and including unnecessary, those laws become meaningless. So people "in" and "out" work within that system. It's always been that way. Laws are designed to provide guardrails to a people group. That's what they do.
We're caught up in this divisive swirl - hate the illegals (who by the way aren't just the people walking across the USA border - it includes countless people within the borders of the United States), hate the media, hate, hate, hate.
Meanwhile, the people keep electing the same people who craft, pass, and implement the laws of this land. Our aim is off target. It should be on the people who govern. Problem is.... We have become they. The baby boomers rule the land as their baby boomer pals holler and hate. And the Gen Z'ers go about life as each generation always has, wondering why so many of the old folks who grooved back in their day to "Do whatcha want, do your own thang," and who always fly aboard their airliner named "Don't judge me," .... are so often crabby?
And so it is. And the rest will be history. Its it always is.
Blessings, Mark

Not everybody is going to be content with someone else setting their standard of living, I don’t care where you are from. Sure there are going to be some that will be happy with it but I don’t believe that will be most of them. Twenty-five years ago we had Taco Bell, now there has to be 20 Mexican food restaurants and several grocery stores. These are owned by the Hispanic community and they pretty much hire their own. They’ve gone into low income communities and rebuilt properties in extreme need of repair. They ain’t doing all that on welfare checks.
No matter how hard you shake the bottle, the cream will always rise to the top. The cream rises to the top with government assistance when it comes to the Hispanic community. My dad owned rental properties and was planning to expand but got annexed into the city before expansion. This annexation by the city of Little Rock required that paved roads, curb and gutter, etc. were required for such an expansion of such rentals. Priced my dad out of his plans so he sold the few mobile homes and land to some Hispanics. Guess what, those Hispanics moved in several new mobile homes but didn't pave roads with curb and gutter, sidewalks, etc. The city didn't say a peep or write fines, then or since. to those Hispanic landlords.

I doubt elections are real. Maybe they are. Who knows? I know that somehow Jerry Moran, KS senator, Big R, got through the primaries with his liberal voting record. Just voted again with big D to increase ATF funding and send a few billion more to Ukraine. We still have a liberal governor too. I think the count is rigged.

Mail in ballots and electronic systems have changed the way voting is conducted. Forever. I agree with the first five words danny typed. And all the rest of his post also, which hinges on the first 5 words.

This is a little off topic but tied in.
I work with several young people in that I could be their father. One left to go in the Navy and we had a lunch send off. Here is what I learned talking to them
They are SCARED of the world. They don't see being able t never afford a house, none of them wanted to have children (all white adults except one black female), only one understood hard work and he is the most well rounded, and all of them had a liberal bend in one degree or another.
To change the working world, we have to start at birth. Kids need to know that work equals money and has merit in life. Lazy gets nothing and possibly punishment.
I hate to say this but we did this to ourselves. Instead of active participation and dealing with things parents must deal with, we give them an electronic device to be our baby sitter.
As a father of a 12 yo, I have learned some things.
Don't ask your child if they want to help you work. Tell them to drop the device and be outside in 5 minutes dressed appropriately. When they do good tell them you are proud of them with a smile. When they do bad, tell them so. Show them the correct way and then if they continue to do it wrong get testy with them. And if they still do it wrong, do not give up on them. Continue showing them the correct way to do the task. They need to know you will not give up on them.
They also need to know life ain't all flowers. They need to know how to handle the thorns.
I sometimes think I raised my kids too soft. But then I see the other kids and I think I have alienated my kids from the rest of their world by making them confident, polite and self sufficient.
Be tough on your kids with love. The world will show them no love and tell them they can't make it. If we had tougher kids we would have tougher adults. Nothing is easy about being a parent.
I hope it can be seen how this ties in to the OP subject. Sorry if I deflected.

The country elected a reprobate who surrounded himself with like-minded people. We're under the judgment of God, there's likely no salvaging it.

Did you mean to say 52 acres or 520? I meant 52. They were a family farm that sold from a roadside stand and at farmers markets. Grew strawberries, tomatoes, peppers, squash, zucchini, cukes, sweet corn, purple hull peas and pumpkins. We have a long growing season so as soon as one crop was played out it was tilled under and the next was planted. I will say those LEGAL Mexicans worked in a way I'm not sure many of today's white folk are even capable of. 12 hour days in 90+ temps with sky high humidity, picking all day in that scorching sun with no shade... drinking out of spigots in the fields. There were huge sacks of sweet corn that I could barely struggle up into a wheelbarrow and they'd pick them up and tote them hundreds of yards out the fields on their shoulder! They definitely weren't afraid of work.
The devil's greatest trick isn't making us think he doesn't exist. It's flattering us. So we don't see..... the devil is us.

the fact that they do not fight for their rights is why the liberals want so many of them here...the same with the muzzies in the eu.
Poor, third world folk are easily controlled. If they have some food and something over their head they are happy.

There comes a point liberalism has gone too far, we're past that point.

yes, conservatives have integrity and that is why they will loose (or is that have lost?) to those who will do anything to keep power.

A good portion of the republicans don't either, but its far less and we wouldn't be in this situation but for the others.

DeSantis seems to be doing well so lets see how that plays out. I do not know alot about him but he seems to be somewhat ethical.
