How soon are you wanting to buy? There is a good ized silencer metering event in GA each year. It's a good place to get to shoot and hear a lot of different models. I host one at my farm in Indiana as well but the one in GA is bigger and probably closer for you. Dates have not been set for 23 yet..
My .30 cal ti can is a supressed armorment systems arbiter. Few I have heard supress as well . I shoot a 7mm08 and 243 without ear pro with no issues. Makes them sound about like a .22lr or .22 mag.
I have never heard of this. Last years was in Sept. I could not find a 2023 but I will keep a check on it. Apparently the first gas chamber can be made caliber specific. That might help with cans dedicated to a specific rifle.
Thank you for the information

It's at red hill range I think it is. guys from NFA Talk put it on. ALL the sound testing data is listed on the form as well open source. Guys bring their personal cans and guns to be tested and let other shoot. It's recorded tabulated an put on line.
It's a bunch of gun nuts that love the science. No sponsors or manufacturers putting out the numbers.
Decibel numbers are nice to see on paper but don't tell the hole story. Pitch and tone effect how we hear and preceive how loud a suppressor sounds. Higher pitch and tone will sound louder to your ear than a suppressor that has a lower tone that meters louder at times.
Guys bring all kinds of their cool guy gear and will let other shoot it. That's how me and my boys have got to shoot many things we would never have got the chance to. Like supresed desert tactical 338 lapua, armligat Ar .50 suppressed, lots of other rifles and handguns one guy brought out 4 machine guns. Hosting at my farm has some benefits

I may go the the GA shoot if it's on a weekend I have off work.
If you register on Nfa I'm Duce on there.
