Found this bottle in one of the ammo boxes I keep lures in. Would anyone have a year range guess of when this was made? Price on label is $2.75. Just curious. It sure smells different than the ones I bought a year ago.

Looks like what I used when I got started. Late 70's.

By late 80s early 90s hawbakers lures I bought had a green edge on labels if I recall correctly. That one is all white must have been before that time frame.

Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

jabNE all the other Hawbakers I have are green labels, this one is a faded tan color. It still works after all these years. Here's proof.
It's Coyote 500 lure.

If it's been in cool, shady place all these years, I bet its as good or better than when it was first made.

Couple years ago, I visited Jerry Johnson's Hawbaker museum.
I ask about the label boarders being different designs. He said, at one point Hawbaker changed boarder design, so he knew what year(s) he made that batch.

Hern, thanks for showing those pictures. That's some collection he has.

I'm partial to Hawbakers lures since I caught my very first canine on it years ago when I started trapping.

Thanks. I'd love to own that Panel truck.

A few more photos-
Hawbaker's catalogs. Plus, knives he sold.

I'd say 70s like everyone else. A few years ago I bought some old Hawbakers lures, just to have. I've some of them in limited fashion. I'll have to look through them and see if I have any with the same label.

Nice collect ion of Hawker's items...they look pristine!
Fourcoil I agree...got some older 1970s lures from Hank and Crystal Sublinski of Wisconsin several years back...still catches fur.
