I put this rack on my snowmobile last week. It's solid. I'll try to think of the best ways to organize/attach things on it. I thought it would work perfect for this Bobcat season but it turns out that somehow in a week's time we went from nearly too much snow to not enough. I maybe should have bought a Jet Ski with all this rain. Anyway, I think this rig should help for trapping or just knocking around the property. I'm sure some of you have come up with crafty ways to modify your snowmobiles to be able to haul gear

Looks about big enough for a puppy pack of beer.

Just kidding you there AJ-a few bungee cords that rack will come in handy for lots of stuff.

Any rack is bigger than no rack I suppose. Must have small moose antlers down there. Can't see it well, but I welded two racks together for a buddy, about two feet long, nine inch high basket. A snowmachine without a rack is not worth much to a working man. Glad you got one.

Boco is right about the bungee cords, amazing what I have seen strapped to a snowmachine rack.

a rack to store a snowmobile on around here makes more sense.

there isn't the snow there used to be 40-50 years ago around here in the southern 1/2 of WI.

snowmobile trails haven't opened up around here so far this year, and here its the beginning of Jan.

I was thinking about that.

As for this particular rack, it is the actual Polaris OEM accessory, not something I had custom made.

Mine is a 488 fan cooled so I am somewhat limited in deep snow.

Northern Sled Works in Alaska sells a plastic bin for snowmobile racks but I'm not sure what they fit. But they look really good. Super expensive. I really like the aluminum bins on AK Howlers machines. The Cadaian Tire plastic bins for perfect on the racks of Voyagers long track and Tundra LT. But they are light duty. But the ones I had lasted a long time.
