Since my chickens are in strike, we’ve been paying around $11 for a five dozen pack of large eggs.

Krogers is out of eggs here. COSCO is limiting purchase to 2 dozen eggs and 1/2 gallon milk. Panic buying here I think!

True,,but I figure at $5 or more a dozen,,my chickens pay for a bag of feed in less than a week of laying. Also,,mine free range during the day,so eat very little store bought feed all summer.

My neighbor at camp in Snow Shoe, Pa is selling them for $2.50 a dozen. There’s a woman near the I 80 exit at Snow Shoe that sells them for $2.00 a dozen. Neither can sell all of what they have…both have to be losing money also.

I bought 5 dozen at Walmart recently, $20. Buying in bulk was $4 a dozen.

Have you seen what heavy whipping cream is going for? $7.99 a quart! When it was $4 a quart I thought it was pricey.

Time for more people to go back to producing our own food.
