Had to work over in SD for a few days, so I stuck around for a couple days after to fish with a buddy.

Nice!

There comes a point liberalism has gone too far, we're past that point.

A friend of mine just got back from Devil's Lake. Saw photos of the nicest batch of perch I've ever seen.

As an American I'm growing tired of our ancestors being compared to the migrants of today.

If the pics show up again, it will show some nice perch, up to 13-1/2", just not as many as we would have liked. We did, however, catch walleyes til our arms were sore. It was weird. All fish were caught in less than 5' of water.

There is a guy at the health club I go to. He fishes Big Stone and gets some pretty decent perch a little later in the winter.

I like perch as well as walleyes for eating.

We were fishing for perch, but we couldn't keep the walleyes off. I've fished Big Stone some, but never found the kind of perch I was hoping for. If the fella you know has the secret to jumbo perch on Big Stone, tell him I'll buy him a fruit smoothie if he will share the info! laugh

Think I'd have returned some walleye and kept after the perch

SD has some excellent fishing! Used to catch some slab crappies on Blue Dog.

I live within 10 miles of the lakes you were fishing. Clark county has the the best fishing in the state for the last 2 years.

I notice 8 walleyes. Is the limit in SD only four each?

No chance. It has all the markings of a walleye, the tail is a dead giveaway.
