trapperkeck OP trapper Joined: Nov 2007 St. Cloud, MN	Had to work over in SD for a few days, so I stuck around for a couple days after to fish with a buddy. Had to come home early because we reached out possession limit on walleye. "The voice of reason!"

Trapper7 trapper T Joined: Dec 2006 MN, Land of 10,000 Lakes	A friend of mine just got back from Devil's Lake. Saw photos of the nicest batch of perch I've ever seen. As an American I'm growing tired of our ancestors being compared to the migrants of today.

trapperkeck OP trapper Joined: Nov 2007 St. Cloud, MN	If the pics show up again, it will show some nice perch, up to 13-1/2", just not as many as we would have liked. We did, however, catch walleyes til our arms were sore. It was weird. All fish were caught in less than 5' of water. "The voice of reason!"

I like perch as well as walleyes for eating. As an American I'm growing tired of our ancestors being compared to the migrants of today.

I've fished Big Stone some, but never found the kind of perch I was hoping for.
