I think those who already own them are grandfathered?..With one big caveat, you have to register them with the state in a specified time period.
Illinois residents, registering them would be a big mistake, IMO.

Does it even matter anymore that they just passed a totally unconstitutional law and by voting for it broke the oath of their office .. especially after the recent supreme court decision that should still be pretty fresh in the memories of those traitors ?? Or is it a case of ... well its only the constitution and not anything serious that we have to abide by kind of deal. ?? No one cares as there are zero consequences for them.
Let's go Brandon

For some time the left has said the constitution is outdated. Too much common sense in it for them.

I have a LOT of family in CO. None of them are happy about it. Its the cockroach's that are for it. Most of them live within ten miles of I25. For those who dont know I25 in CO runs parallel to the rockies. It is at the extreme west side of the plains. The farmers and ranchers in east Co are against it as are the majority of the folks in mountains that were born there. For many years CO was as red as red gets.

John Denver ruined it for everyone ^^^^ Druggie. He was so rocky mountain high he forgot to gas up his plane and killed himself.

I see a low compliance coming. Making criminals out of otherwise law abiding Americans. A man can only take so much.

It's Trump and the NRA's fault.
There comes a point liberalism has gone too far, we're past that point.

about 85 of 102 counties are Second amendment sanctuary counties , the Sherriff isn't going to do the states work for them if they want registrations and such done.
or it will be a real test of those declarations
I expect it will largely be un-funded and it will mostly just stop sales , which is something it will keep the next generation from having access , which is of course much of the goal.
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

wy.wolfer, You have my sympathy.
CA has a huge exodus of Californians which you can't blame them for. Unfortunately, most of them contaminate the place they settle in with their liberal baggage.
