I am glad I live in Texas where my family ancestors came here in 1836.
Sit on your horse on top of a ridge, look out across the country and tell me there is no God.

I live in a Sportsmans paradise. Smack dab in the middle of NC. I have easy access to trout fishing, smallmouth fishing, great largemouth fishing, offshore saltwater fishing, deer hunting, waterfowl hunting (if you look hard enough), and all the coyotes and beaver a fellow could want to trap. Pretty mild weather all year just warm in the summer, but that is when I head to the mountains. I've been to every state except Hawaii and Alaska and I can't imagine living anywhere else you forgot, and a pellet grill!

I am glad I live in Texas where my family ancestors came here in 1836. Did your ancestors become Mexican citizens? Im thinking that was a condition for settlement at that time wasn't it? Anyway, purty darn cool!

I am glad I live in Texas where my family ancestors came here in 1836. Now I'll say it right here CH.... you come from some tough kin brother! The Comanches were raiding all over the state during this time and had the best horses around.

This ain't a good state anymore -- wish I was in Idaho. Used to be a good state -- If you like liberals, illegals and dopers it is still a great state. By the time you and I get to Idaho it'll be wrecked too

The fewer the people the better the place IMHO. And higher quality of people from my experience. If I won the lottery I'd probably be moving tomorrow but only because there's places with less people and less humidity. PS if everyone is so happy were your at I wish all of you out of state hunters and trappers would stay home . lol

WA is a perfect place for those that are willing to accept being told you must live this way and accept the gov knows best. IF I were able I'd be otta this state so fast it would create a vacuum. Not sure if it would be WY, MT or UT

Even with all the snow. How about you? You satisfied to live in your area? I sure am. Went for a skidoo ride last Saturday, had 4 moose in my hay field yesterday. Quadding in the summer. Work is plentiful with good wages. Probably the most conservative (anti liberal) province in Canada. Got mule deer, whitetail deer, moose, elk, grizzly bear and black bear local. Heck I can't think of anything not to be satisfied with.
