Same here. I have never even owned a small pistol primer. Have always used the rifle flavor in my pistols with zero issues and thus far 100% reliability

What weight bullets were you pushing with H450?

Mike

165's mostly. 83gr for them and if I loaded 180's it was 82gr. It isn't real particular on how many grains of this powder tho, it really likes it.

There comes a point liberalism has gone too far, we're past that point.

Woodsloafer72, for 357 loads I like H110 or W296. They are the same powder sold in different jugs just for marketing. For 38 special Unique always worked good. So does titegroup

For 357 158gr xtp the only load I need to shot in 357 I love winchester 296. It also works in 300 black out.

Scuba I like 8208 xbr for 223/5.56. It's extruded but meters like a ball powder. I saw where it was listed for 308 but haven't tried it. I haven't been seriously loading or shooting in several years. Just loading a few hundred for the kids practice and hunting. So I still have lots of powder and primers and have not looked to see whsts been available.

When I started digging I was surprised to see that's a fairly common practice...

Accurate 2230 and Ramshot X-Terminator are two more... Same facility, same equipment, same bottles... Just different labels. And X-Terminator is about $4 a pound cheaper.
