Jacob Hueftle of Broken Bow, Nebraska’s Hidden Hills Outfitters received 30 months in federal prison, a 15-year ban from engaging in hunting/trapping and any other associated activities, and a $214,375 fine in 2020.

Prior to the Bowmars’ sentencing, the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission’s sting operation had resulted in over $625,000 in fines and 53 years of revoked hunting and fishing privileges. Ninety-seven animals were found taken illegally, as of Hueftle’s case."

So the "guide" got a $214,375.00 fine. Hard to be sure as the writing isn't clear, at least clear to me but it seems that the guide had taken part in 97 animals being taken illegally.

So the hot chic got probation and 10’s of thousands in fines and other got federal prison time??

And they are not the only ones to be convicted of that crap around here. Dollars seem to make folks do all kinds of things to bend the rules to keep them going. Getting tired of reading about all of these outfitters and experts bending the rules for fame and fortune.
Well after doing federal time at least they won’t be able to have weapons again or even get a decent honorable job anywhere, hope they have fun checking that box on job applications in future. Hope no other state gives them permits either, reciprocity matters.

i dont get pay to hunt. when i was young i worked for a guide. did a lot of baby sitting a lot of ego stroking. dogs tree a nice lion. tell the shooter how impressed you are with him. put him on a nice buck. watch him shoot it two three times tell him what a mighty hunter he is.

i have sold LEGALLY taken antlers as well as illegaly taken whole deer when i was in high school. the deer were to texans to take home so their wives wouldnt know they were just drinking and whoring. ( 50 years ago So statute of limitation applies for the haters)

the large legally taken antlers were to people who wanted to get their name in a trophy book and put them on the wall of their trophy room. both markets are still there btw.

I had a friend tell me that someone who consistently takes giant bucks year after year is doing something illegal. He died a few years ago but it's turned out to be true. 3 mighty hunters here got busted for killing giant bucks at night., another one got bust for killing giant bucks with a rifle during bow season. I stay away from the mighty hunters. Keeping it legal works just fine for me.

Since your governor is attractive she's dragged into a discussion about poaching? From across the border in MN she seems like a pretty darn good conservative governor, regardless of her looks. I'd welcome a chance to vote for her.
