It has actually been going on for months now but you wouldn't know it as the media both local and national have been silent on the subject. Last month they did a sweep of the area and arrested several on terrorism charges. All out of state agitators.
They call themselves the forest defenders. The "forest" in question is the old Atlanta state prison farm property that is anything but a proper forest. Just an overgrown urban tract of weeds more non native invasive than native species.

We do sub contract work for a big name company sometimes. They are currently working on the site. The protesters are harassing the workers and even throwing Molotov cocktails. One contractor wasn’t even working on the job he just delivered some equipment there for another company and some protesters followed his rig back to his property and burned up one of his skid steers. These people are slap nuts. Pure pests. Pest need eradication in my opinion.

Because the elected leadership of Atlanta is part and parcel of this kind of crap. If you look at just who got shot or went in to clear the area they are STATE police agencies not city. But IMO it's been only a half hearted lackluster attempt by a tough talking but gutless coward of a governor.

Of course the liberal news outlets are saying an atlanta forest defender was killed. It doesn’t matter that he shot a state trooper first. I fear for my kids’ future when shooting police officers is celebrated. Perverts can go in bathrooms opposite of their born gender. White people are being demonized. Millions of illegals are flooding in and us natural born citizens are expected to foot the bill. This country is a joke and definitely not a funny one.
