What about Garoppolo? Would Brady be a second string then?

Saw Brady on TV the other day talking about the possibility of becoming a TV sportscaster like Randy Moss and some of the others did. He was saying, he certainly has the experience.

Jimmy G was on the trading block when he got hurt . He’s gone . His salary goes to Brady . Purdy is on rookie deal as is lance. They might keep lance for back up . But Purdycant throw a football for 6 months. Think he ruptured a tendon in elbow

Like him or not, he is 45 years old and can still move better than a lot of 35 year olds. Still has a cannon. While the majority of us cant have personal trainers or nutritionists/chefs at our disposal, he has shown what diet and the right workouts can do. Now if someone can fix his obsession with open mouth kissing his family….

He does move as well or maybe better than some 35 year olds. But, unless he has a decent offensive line that can protect him, he's a mediocre QB. He's lost a lot of mobility. We saw that this year.

I am thinking I saw a post where Nessie beat you to your prediction.

Figure Derek Carr ends up a Niner before Brady does.

Just another washed up QB looking for a good team to carry him.

Farve was the last one I remember doing it.

Hippie, did you happen to see the stats Brady had this past season? He completed 66,8% of his passes, passed for 4,694 yards, 25 touchdown passes and only 9 interceptions. I would hardly call that being washed up.

Hippy wants Brady in Pittsburgh

Good stats, maybe. Trouble is there's qb's putting up much better stats.

Did you look at the younger QB stats like Mahomes?

Less attempts but more yards, hundreds of rushing yards compared to about none (just looked..-1 yard for Brady this year.) and a higher completion and QB rating. A QB can make 10 good plays but have a bad pass and the result is a loss because of him. Look at the win-loss record?

Mahomes, love him or hate him has reset about every record there is thru 75 games, and I'm sure will reset them thru 100.

The road to the Superbowl goes thru K.C. when he is there.

He sure looked washed up in his last game vs. the lowly Cowboys.

Not every team can have a Mahomes, Burrow Or Hurts so they will and need to work on finding QBs that fit into their offense and system which means as much or more thought needs to go into the supporting cast as the QB position. We are still seeing in general a shorter career for QBs that spend a lot of time ouside of the pocket. It short of shows that the new mindset is to win the SB and not worry so much about building a dynasty and with money in the system now players get moved for dollar reasons as much if not more than skill or stats. We are seeing more Personal fouls each season it seems to me and that is just one sign of lack of discipline that can impact the games in many other ways.

Not saying he had a better year than Mahomes, you said, " he was washed up", I am just pointing out he had a pretty good year for being washed up. BTW, how many rings does Mahomes have?

I agree.

Look at Hurts stats...nothing impressive at all but the Eagles can run the ball. Hurts had 460 attempts compared to Brady's 730+ and a thousand less yards but look who's going to the big dance. Brady was pretty much the same throughout his career, nothing special but with the team spying on opponets and a good team around him, people think he was good. laugh
