Any consignment auctions nearby? Specifically gun auctions but any well advertised auctions. The last couple years especially, guns go sky-high at any I have been to.

Use gunbroker.com, then just ship it to their FFL dealer. or long range hunting has a forum page to sell, so does monstermuleys.

Anyone that is suggesting selling on-line is probably not aware that UPS and Fedex will only ship these items from an FFL holder. USPS will still ship them but they are extremely expensive.
I have nothing clever to put here.

Consignment auctions take the liability off a person. Adam Marshall Auctions of Kearney NE has two gun auctions right now. They ship everywhere. Sellers Commission is $0 - $500 = 15% , $501 - $1000 = 13%, $1000 and up = 10%. Have not been there for an auction but by their web site the sale price would make up for the commission.
