What's the best way? Armlist is a subscription now, not sure if it remains worthwhile or not? I'm selling 6, buying 2 or 3. I've never sold and shipped anything, wouldn't know where to start as far as online auctions etc.

Any consignment auctions nearby? Specifically gun auctions but any well advertised auctions. The last couple years especially, guns go sky-high at any I have been to.

There are auctions, that's what I did last time but they charge 10% buyer and seller plus sales tax. Basically 27% of the sale goes to the auction or the state and ide like to avoid that

Tell what you have for sale. Might save you money and commission and taxes.

Use gunbroker.com, then just ship it to their FFL dealer. or long range hunting has a forum page to sell, so does monstermuleys.

Not sure how close you are to Thief River Falls but I’ve had good luck with McMullen Sales and Auctions. They have online consignment auctions. One coming up soon. I far exceeded my price wanted on guns to more than cover fees.

Gunbroker-even though the fees are getting ridiculous.

Not sure how far into Minnesota you are but Bisman.com is a popular place to sell on. You are welcome to shoot me a private message with what you have if you are closer to the ND border. I am in the market for a couple of different guns.

Anyone that is suggesting selling on-line is probably not aware that UPS and Fedex will only ship these items from an FFL holder. USPS will still ship them but they are extremely expensive.

I have nothing clever to put here.

DS,
Reinhardt Auctions from Palisade, Mn has about three gun auctions per year. I would get ahold of them and you should be able to get you firearms sold through them.

You can put an add in the paper and then just go to an FFL to make the sale.

Consignment auctions take the liability off a person. Adam Marshall Auctions of Kearney NE has two gun auctions right now.
They ship everywhere. Sellers Commission is $0 - $500 = 15% , $501 - $1000 = 13%, $1000 and up = 10%. Have not been there for
an auction but by their web site the sale price would make up for the commission.
