I'd eat it! I'd also eat that pure Texas stuff. And about everything in between, for that matter.

I've never had the authentic Texas stuff and I don't think that I'd know if I got it right if I made it.
I'd love to try it though.

Just happy to be here.

Yep, mine has more beans than his pic, but otherwise it's really close looking.

I cook for a lot of folks over here, for different occasions and invariably they ask for a pot of beans to be cooked separately. Half of them then add the beans to their bowl of texas red. For me, I cook with beans in my chili, but I'm a coon a ss transplant lol.

Agreed! I also make it a bit thin and add cooked elbow macaroni noodles when I make a bowl. I know, it's blasphemy but I don't care cool

Life sure is tough when you don't learn from the mistakes of others.

What is with people putting CORN in chili? I can think of all kinds of things to say about that, and ain't none of them nice.

I put chunks of STEAK in my chilli. Along with onions Beans Jalpenos Green Peppers Hot Peppers Corn and then More Beans on the side as well as Macaroni on the side. It has to be THICK too then the next Morning I make Chilli Omelletes with the left overs.

God please keep they 19 fallen UBB miners out of trouble up there.
