I am happy if I get 2 years form a pair . I usually have 2 pair I switch every other day so keep the insides dry .I am very uncomfortable with wet feet So I will have 2 pair that I am using every day plus a pair of brand new ones I HAVE IN RESERVE in case I punch a hole in one .

but Mike 10 days of your season is like a DECADE of other guys beaver trapping.

I know the outfitters here return the ones they have at the end of the season and most are not even used...is there still a Bargain Cave at a certain store

I have 4 pair of neoprene waders hanging in the basement in varying stages of repair and like many others got about 2 years of use out of most of them. However, one time I was at a garage sale and picked up a pair of Stearns dark green neoprene waders for 15 bucks. The guy had only used them for putting in his dock. I have gotten at least 10 years of use out of these and am still using them. I have had to make a few small repairs with aqua seal but the seams are still not leaking. Now, I don't trap a ton of beaver or walk through much heavy cover like most of you guys, but I do also use them for dock installation and lake work. If they still make these, I would sure buy another pair when I need them. Anyone else ever use this brand?

I'm just happy to be here! Today I'm as young as I'll ever be and and older than I've ever been before!

I usually buy a pair every year with my tax refund,, I get the ultimate waders from cabelas… they are actually pretty tough. I get 2-3 years on average out of my waders,, the uppers are pretty easy to patch e600 usually does the trick,,,, it’s the rubber bottoms that become the hardest to patch. The best way I’ve found is using a bicycle tire tube repair kit,,, I use those inner tube patches and rubber cement ,, holds for quite some time.

You have to buy more gas when you run low, you also have to buy waders when they wear out.

I went through a set of waders every year for 6 years before I finally broke down and bought a pair with a lifetime warranty. They are a serviceable wader that you can send back to be worked on. Boots can be changed etc etc. Cost me what about 4 sets of normal waders would cost up front, but I have had them for 4 years now with no leaks. They are manufactured by the most hated brand of tman......sitka!!

Gotta live up to the nickname...
