Last night around 1:00 am...my son checked on Meg..out in the baahn ..and found a set of triplets. Meg pushed all these babies out by herself. Thankfully they weren't born last Saturday when it was -15 and 35 mph winds. They look to be about 12-13 pounds each...going out to weigh them now This is only our second set of triplets in 20 years

Nice!! Love sheep and lambing is an exciting time. We used to raise sheep and I really miss this time of year.
Give me a fish, I will eat for a day. Teach me to fish, I will eat for a lifetime

My son said she has a big bag and plenty of milk for 3. But there's only 2 teats...so he will check there bellies and supplement with a bottle just to get them up and running..then they should be fine.
Was supposed to have 5 ewes lambing ...but only 2 got bred. So it's easy to stay on top of them

I don't know anything about sheep, if twins or triplets are mixed sex are they all free martins like cattle?
