That Bronstein sounds like a typical Fudd hunter. "Hunters should support banning beaver trapping so we can shoot more ducks." He can't see past the end of his nose that ducks are on the list too, after trapping is gone, they'll come after hunters. What a tool.

He's no different than many on this site. Particularly the TDS sufferers.

You have to love those beaver ponds for duck hunting.
When I trapped down south they wanted every beaver killed but they would never blow the dams. That would spoil the duck hunting.

I have been asked before to live trap beavers in cages or snares and release them on another property in hopes they would build dams and create duck ponds

Oregon has been dealing with these guys for some time now. They tried to get beaver trapping banned statewide petitioning the game commission and when that failed, even with a commission heavily seeded with antis they went the backdoor with our governor and got beaver trapping basically banned on most private forestland in Oregon.

The bible for this group is a book titled: "Beaver Believer". I've read the book, and there is a lot of good beaver information in it, but is very given to hyperbole. It's hallmark is that beaver are a keystone species that needs to be augmented across the country and all will be well. Climate mitigated, war in Ukraine over, Congress united, etc.

Which type of TDS? There's three types. Type A is the ones that thought he was the savior. Type B that thought he eas the devil. Type C that are annoyed by A and B.

I'd actually love to see them ban beaver trapping. No beaver trapping under ANY circumstances.

It would take no more than a year of flooded roads and farm fields to show how absolutely stupid the idea is.

We had a commissioner on the GFP board that kept trying to regulate trapping through a back door anti that introduced the proposals for him since he could not do it himself. The guy promoted bird hunting but he lied so much the other commissioners kept him in check when it came to trapping I was glad when he cycled out of the lineup.

That would of probably got reversed BUT the wonderful ADC trappers joined with HSUS and got that shot down. They didn't want to lose their 750.00 per beaver gig, most were ex. fur trappers but what's new, trapper's been cutting one another's throat's since the mtn. man days.

I know here in the south you ban beaver trapping there won't be anymore interstate commerce either by truck or by rail as all the roads and rail road's will be falling in within 2 years if that long.

this is why we need to get state and local trapping organizations going and keep them going to watch the government that we elect. And get everyone to join the NTA !!!!!and their local clubs.
