https://youtu.be/JJ1ZScjRiDQHey, I just put my first video on YouTube. It is about making maple syrup. Hope to have more to come about hunting, fishing, trapping and other outdoor related things. Tally-up Adventures is what I named the channel. Thank You

The stove is a 100 gallon fuel tank that had leaks in the bottom from riding around in a truck. The materials all came from a scrap yard. A buddy built the pan for me.

Scott I have that same ladle it was one we used in water can at my parents old cottage. Everyone used it to dip water from the can and drank right from it. I used it now much the same way you use yours. I have drank the sweet tea like half boil sap right out of it. Enjoyed your video.

Mac. That ladle has been with me a long time. It is probably older than I am.
Grammy. I usually run mine up to 220 degrees because I like it thicker myself. We went through about 105 gallons of sap last weekend and ended up with a little over 2.5 gallon of syrup so about 40 to 1. That is for hard Maples.
Dahlgren. The kids on the video were visiting from the Seattle area so they probably will remember it for a long time. I hope so anyway.
