Nice way to get out of the WI winter this year. Looks like a lot of fun.

57 years trapping. It's who I am. Every day is still as exciting as it was when I was a kid but a little more work.

Mixed bag there. Mahi, king mackerel, wahoo, and blackfin tuna?

Probably the most different kinds of fish we have caught in the 20 plus years we have fished in the keys plus we kept our limit of 50 snappers.

Looks like a lot of fun. I liked fishing for sea trout down there. Very good eating too.

Remember as a kid we played army and you gave up the fort so the other side got it? Of course you don't. Little kids aren't that stupid.

Are you going to eat that Cuda. I was always told not to eat any cuda over about 5 lbs.

I just booked a couple days sword charter in the Keys - $3k per day - 1 to 6 people all the same. Regular offshore for dolphin, tuna, etc - $2200. Backcountry cheaper. Just did three days in cabo and they charged $980 EXTRA for fuel because we were running long. A lot of gulf charters charge around $2k and customer buys fuel when they get back. Plus tip for all of it.

I talked with a guy that blew the entire check on Big Gulp's for the wife and 3 kids!

My fur check may cover a dozen nightcrawlers and a can of corn.

We gave the cuda and the king to the capt and he was going to have them smoked. Our cost for the charter was $300 each plus tip.
