Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot lost her bid for re-election Tuesday. And....becomes the first Chicago mayor in 40 years to lose a re-election bid.

I can only wonder when the rioting, looting and burning of buildings will begin.

She was my favorite Gotham Villan.

Hopefully some of the other pro criminal Democrats in big cities will see this as a wake up call. Not likely. Their misguided ideology has ruined some really great cities in this country.

I still can't figure out for the life of me how in the world she ever got elected? But then again you can insert many politicians in that phrase.

William Hale Thompson, mayor of Chicago from 1915 to 1923 and again from 1927 to 1931.

The guy that placed second, Brandon Johnson, supported defunding the police and wants to raise taxes for more social programs for crime and is supported by the teachers Union. Paul Vallas, the guy that placed first, wants more police officers and is supported by the police union. In the run off election when all of Beetlejuice’s votes go to Johnson, guess who will win.

Most of Chicago and the surrounding areas is nice, safe and an okay place to visit and live. It's just the primarily black and Hispanic areas that are dangerous.

A few years ago, I posted the city's statistics, in what then was their worst year for murders. Not a single white person had been killed by midsummer. All the people murdered were black or Hispanic. The known and suspected murderers were all black or Hispanic. Only 2 people were killed outside of a small group of neighborhoods.
