I just wanted to give a shout out and recommendations to Ron Post. First of all, I emailed him at 4:30 in the morning explaining that I, and I along screwed up one of my mini pelted knives. I told him that I rounded the point off and asked if he would be open to the idea of me sending the knife to him to get it back right, he responded within minutes and said that I could, but if I called him this evening he could walked me through it over the phone and save on all the shipping. What a guy! I called him this afternoon, very pleasant man with detailed instruction on how to re form the point of my knife. What a great fellow trapper and manufacturer we have among us!

Ron is a great Guy.
I asked him if he could make a beaver skinner to my specific requirements-a custom made knife-No problem and no difference in price from his existing line of knives.
I ordered 5 of them it worked so good.

Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.

Grab the blade 3/4 down and kind of lock in and only really move your wrist. All the the while you have the blade just up from flat.

I just figured we always hear about bad Service and such, it’s nice to shed light on the good stuff too. I am interested in one of his fillet knives too now.

I have had one for many years. I saw my first one when I was trapping in Kansas. My friend KS Skunkman had one, and once I saw the design and how it worked, I really liked it.

He could work that knife on those skunks like a surgeon. Mick knows how to get it done.
