All bodygrip traps can and should be set by hand if you're a man of average strength. It's all about technique, not brute strength. If you're a geezer with arthritic hands or a 11-12 year old then maybe some type of setting tool would be prescribed.
My fear of moving stairs is escalating!

Maybe as Beav said you should be able to set them by hand, but it is a whole lot easier to use setters. I am not sure if you can still find them but Sleepy Creek made a setter for 110s or 120 that work find on those and the 5x5. If you are setting a bunch of them, and it is cold, or if you are old like me, those setters are pretty darn handy.
