Take a good close look at it,the suspension, frame etc-then compare it to a Honda Yammy ot Can am.
You will have your answer.

Japan takes pride in their work and products, China is just looking for another way to screw us over or poison us zero pride in their work.

Buy a Honda or Yamaha a guy at work bought one a piece fell off internally and bye bye engine just saying you get what you pay for . My 2004 Honda Foreman is the only machine I’ve owned 10 k miles the only reason I haven’t thought about a new one is the pull start that is on it and it does the job

That is very true. I have a buddy that bought the BodeMoto UTV for hunting and trapping because it was a lot cheaper than American made. It's 2-3 years old now (I think) and mechanical parts are cracking and breaking consistently, he's having huge trouble getting replacement parts to keep it running. To be fair this may have something to do with the Covid shutdown supply chain issues. I have a 1997 Polaris Sportsman 500, that now has 44,000 miles on it and I use it to hunt, trap, sprays weeds with a 25 gallon tank and boom sprayer in a hard to get my Kubota tractor into pasture, fixing fence, dragging my gravel driveway, and every tough job there is. This thing still runs like a mule that stepped in a ground Hornets nest with minimal repairs but very good maintenance. One of those things that you get what you paid for! Probably 8 sets of tires on it by now.

I wouldn't get a Polaris, Honda might not be as good as it used to be, but still much better than anything Chinese

CFMOTO is not well thought of around here. They break a lot and customer service is pretty bad. Check out some online reviews.

Sounds like Japan is using Chinese slave labor just like the US and every other nation in the world.
Anyone in here who is espousing the discontent of the Chinese, shop at Walmart?

Same thing in my area. I’ve known two guys who ended up selling them out of frustration with breakdowns.

In my world ATVs see as much use as most peoples cars. In the reliability department nothing beats a Honda. Yamaha is a close second. If you like working on stuff or walking, get a Polaris.

A year or so back Yamaha brought back the 450 Kodiak. I know guys that have more than 30,000 hard miles on them and zero issues.

I'm not impressed with Chinese made motorsports equipment. I had to fix this kids Tao-Tao scooter.
[Linked Image]
The kick starter lever broke at the weld inside the gearbox.
[Linked Image]
The scooter only had 373km on it.
[Linked Image]
That part should last the life of the scooter. Chinese made stuff just doesn't last. Japanese stuff can last decades.

True I work on the old Mitsubishi 2nd gen mini trucks that Dodge imported 1987-1994, I built one from the frame up and broke only 1 bolt putting one truck together using 2 parts trucks. Every bolt was factory galvanized and higher grade bolts were used.

Sure they are made in China but they are brought here by American investors and sold by American dealers and salespersons, so who are the real enemies?

My son has cfmoto side by side and another friend has regular quad no issues.
My son's machine is 3 years old with no major issues just couple loose bolts that probably didn't get tightened in setup. Biggest problem we have with all our machines. Is trusting the people who do service we can't do our selves.
My son and I each have a Suzuki quad my son also has the 2020 cfmoto side by side and a 2020 Polaris Ranger he won on a raffle. Getting dealer work done is a hassle.
Any machine you consider buying I would look at if you have good local service. How easy can you get parts if you do your own work. I can get most any parts for our machines off internet.

Buying Chinese is like buying oil from countries that hate us.

More and more when I go anywhere I find myself keeping track of where the nearest rest room is.
