I got mine in Brainerd. It was used; a couple years old. I thought the price was really fair.

This.

I would add Arctic Cat to the mix, but they went under and sold out a couple years ago. I'm on my third Arctic Cat ATV, 14K on it, over 20K on both of the first two and they still ran. Honda makes the most reliable, but Arctic Cat made the TBX which was better designed for my use and reliable enough. The only experience I've had with CFMoto was with their kids ATVs and they are junk, brand new they were broke down and requiring repairs and maintenance more often than my Cats with 20K of hard work miles on them.

Watch craigslist ,etc. my buddy never buys new and he finds some darn good machines all Hondas with low mileage ,like he says you can tell pretty quick if its been abused he says lots of people have them and never ride them , I've been trying to buy a 2007 450 Foreman ES from a deceased cousins wife it has 100 miles on it but I know it would take carb work etc just from the years of sitting in the garage it's a waste of a good machine.

There are still old machines with low mileage out there...and I have seen some good ones used 3 weeks/ year for hunting. I am already looking another one...
I just load up my old 1987 Kawasaki Bayou with traps this afternoon...the darn thing hasn't been running since last November. I drained the tank and poured new gas in it and it fired right up. Good to go for another Spring.

I often think of the younger generation wanting to get into trapping...when considering the amount of equipment needed to do the job i.e. traps, supply, reliable vehicle, canoe, ATV and combined with price of gas... given the current price of fur, it is discouraging to most, no doubt...

Not sure if they are still doing that or not.

I have had Honda rancher TRX350s for years and years with little or no trouble and personally wouldn’t buy anything else.

Good luck!

I have 2 Honda Ranchers, 05 and 06, at current rate they will be the only ATV's I will ever purchase. Oil changes and batteries....They will outlast my wife and I.

you're only allowed so many sunrises... I aim to see every one of them!
