Any issues with squarejaw 110s? The older victors in particular, will be used for bottom edge mink sets.

sometimes the spring eyes go over the squire corners. this cases the jaws not to close as tight as they would if the spring eyes didn't go over

I would use them any way.

I doubt that the spring eyes would go around the jaw corners If there were a critter In the trap.
I would use them.

Used nothing but them for many years when younger. They'll catch mink just fine

Never have an issue with mine. As long as the spring is still strong no problem.

Ive never had them go around the corner with a catch. Been using the same ones for decades in BE sets and have no complaints.

I like the older conibears better than the new bent corner traps.

My experience has been positive while mounting them on a bracket attached to a patio block.

I've never had an issue with them other than the eyes going around the corners when they are unset, which really isn't that big a deal. They don't close as tight as some of the newer magnum type traps, but if you ever snap your fingers in one this is a bonus, not a detriment. As an old guy once told me, "we're not trying to trap cigarette paper" the jaws don't have to touch to hold our target animals in a bodygrip, and frankly I don't really want to hold stuff by a paw or tail in them.

I was a big fan of the old Victor Woodstream #110's for years. Especially with the factory wishbone trigger. But now, I do believe that the Duke has a more positive trigger.
