Gary Benson OP trapper G Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 21,716 Sandhills Nebraska	I got a 6 gallon kit and the SG is 1.040. How much sugar can I add to bring ut up to 1.090? Life ain't supposed to be easy.

Grain Alcohol is is normally made without Sugar unless you are cheap and in a hurry. I have never used any sugar in my mash. Grandpa would haunt me from his grave. God please keep they 19 fallen UBB miners out of trouble up there.
