As a lifetime CI lover and user, I'd never give them a thought.

I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

Never tried that model but have used Lodge three notch for years. Just purchased a USA made Stargazer 10.5 skillet which is very nice. Plus a 15% discount for veterans was a nice gesture.

I have an old steel pan , that is the best pancake pan ever.
Not cast iron , but steel.
Seasoned the same as cast iron.
It needs to be used often , to keep the non stick like cast iron.
70 Years ago , mom made the best buckwheat pancakes ever in it.

Thay look nice but what I like about the old stuff I have is it is thin and very smooth. They said theirs is thick but smooth.
I sanded my lodge stuff and it's as smooth as the cast that was my great grandmothers. So that's is a good option if you want to save money. If you prefer the more modern design and have extra cash I think they look nice.

You are driving up the price. I can't figure out why you won. I gave $21.07 shipped with tax on e-bay for my chicken fryer a couple weeks ago. $1.04 for the pan.

All we use is cast iron. Wagner and Lodge for the longest. Bought a Finex last year and like it. Just got a No. 12 Smithey and absolutely love it. Been cooking in it every day.

I hope some one with more money than I have buys one lets it sit in the sink for a week and rust and wants to get rid of it so I can buy it cheep at a thrift store

that is my thought , I wish them well in their endeavor it is very cool and I appreciate they understand it is a lifetime piece of cook ware

but I have 4 lifetimes worth of cast right now the few pieces I have bought in the last 4 years were to give to my kids or as presents for other people.

I watched it for 6 days...and put my bid in with 15 minutes left. It's wasn't some chicken fryer ...it was an Early Wagner.
Iam not a collector..iam a user. But I like old pieces like that

There is a flea market in Backus, Minnesota open all year that had a room full of cast iron stuff last time I was there. Like hundreds of items. Someone who knows about such things could probably have a heyday in there; the shelves are stacked down and overflowing onto the floor. I haven't been there in a while but it's probably still the same.

Never bought cast iron from them but buy some of their other stuff. They have an interesting catalog.
