if the bumper is too high on a Kia Soul , what would have a bumper low enough ?

the Kia only has 6.7 inches of ground clearance

Its obvous,the tire went under the car.

Seen lots of other footage where cars hit tires and the tire went airborne not the car.

The Kia owners next trip was to Walmart for a fresh pair of underwear!

the tire was rolling forward , the car was moving at a high rate of speed , the bumper is low on the vehicle

more likely the bumper crushed rather than pushing the wheel out of the way
deforming around the wheel causing the vehicle to ride up

making the height of the bumper less of the issue

they were probably both moving around 80 speed changes things also.

My daughter was following a car when suddenly the car's rear tire came off and hit my daughter's front end and went up over the top of her car. It seems the car she was following had its tires rotated and the mechanic didn't tighten the lug nuts on the tire that came off. The mechanic's insurance paid for the damages to her car.

Not only is that Bumpertoo High but it is not Parallel to the Road. Me thinks it will not land well.

That tire on the truck that came off looked like the kind kids are putting on their trucks nowadays. All rim a very little tire. I hate them.

looked to me like a bearing failed. an inspection would not have caught that

I love how the driver of the kia was hitting his brakes while he was midair. Watch the brake lights in the video. I'm sure that did him a lot of good

they are actually saying most likely wheel spacer extension that failed , it pushes the wheel out farther than factory

some of these have studs in them and the lug nuts attach the spacer to the hub bearing assembly then the wheel is mounted to the spacer

creating a set of hidden lug nuts you have to remove the wheel to check

there is defintily something attached to the inside of the wheel yet , spacer or rotor is hard to tell

if they survived, how long will it take to remove the seat material from their rear ends.

apparently they did live with no life threatening injuries.

Those after mkt truck wheels are too far out. That adds extra force on bearings and lugs. Not to mention, tires exposed past the fender like that are always throwing rocks and other debris at other drivers. I hate everything about them.
