^^^The only issue with that is there is no DNA contribution from Europe to first nation peoples prior to 1492 to back up the theory. If they did make it here they didn't last. The first Europeans settled North America in 1170 and they did last. Their descendants were still here nearly 700 years later. They lasted until the smallpox epidemic of the 1830's wiped them out.

So how fast are the plates moving Bernie? What is slow or fast in geological time?
BTW, you're right I don't know anything. But I'm just reporting what the strongest supported scientific theories are. It is a subject that I'm quite interested in.

Really doesn't matter how fast they are moving now. Could be way different than it was in the past. It could very well have been a cataclysmic event that took place over a relatively short period of time.

I just now did some research into Homo sapiens living among the dinosaurs and was chagrined to see you were right, there is some evidence: Both from the 30's comic strip Alley Oop and later from the Flinstones.

Alright, right or wrong, here's my take. This comes from reading several books, watching documentaries, from differnt sources. I believe that H.Sapiens came out of AfricaLong ago (100K years plus). Maybe several migrations. Over a couple of 10K years in northern climates their skin started to lighten to adjust for the climate. Bred the Neanderthals out. Went east toward asia. Crossed the Bering land bridge. And on down to south america. Everything I have studied says South America COULD be the last populated continent on earth. NOW, a few may have come from the pacific on boats? I believe climate change has been going on since the dawn of time. We didn't come from monkeys! Our earliest ancestors MAY have been ape LIKE, but not apes. I heard/read if you take a caucasion, put him/her back to Africa, their descendants will be dark (black) skinned in 20K years. I don't believe mordern H.Sapiens were here at the time of t-rex. This is a very interesting discussion though. Lets keep it civil and keep it going. I used to love looking for stone points and wonder what the story of that point was. I do believe there were A LOT of natives in North America at one point. Sorry for the long post.

You just got through telling everybody they were wrong about everything then state this piece of information like it's undisputed fact. Were you there? Or or you relying on reading research? Just as the others on this post were doing.

Indians in Alaska been there a long time. Northern Canada too. Its quite possible they are direct descendants of the first humans on this continent. They don't have white skin though. I think white skin blue eyes red hair, all came from crossing with Neanderthals. Now thats my theory. Not from a book just looking out the windshield.

There are some studies suggesting those northern people have adapted to cold better than most. When most people get cold their body starts shutting off blood to extremities to protect the core. Those northern humans its opposite. Their bodies increase blood flow to extremities.

Physical evidence matters. Plate tectonics must have happened quickly in some places, or else the rocky mountains would not be so rugged and rocky. They would have had millions of years of weathering to wear them down, unless of course they were formed in the last few thousands of years. There is some legitimacy to Rapid Earth Expansion Theory vs. Plate Tectonic Theory, and how it has the ability to move continents and move mountains. Lots of water deep in the earth's crust too.
Problem is mainstream scientists possibly committed a Type II Error regarding this topic. They have to double down on it, or else everything they spit as truth is based on a falsehood.

And here I thought this was a serious conversation among people who cared about facts. Sorry man, but I figured you were just fooling around and I was joining in. The classic age of the dinosaurs ended with the asteroid strike off the coast of Yucatan 65 million years ago. Modern man has thought to been roaming the earth only within the last 300,000 years or less. I have never heard any serious discussion of humans and dinosaurs co-existing. Unless you mean turtles, crocs and the like.
