MNEric trapper Joined: Jan 2021 Posts: 497 Minnesota	12 lb 3 oz bowfin (dogfish) in an anything goes fishing tournament. That nasty fish helped me win the tournament. Caught it in the last 5 minute. Next tournament after that was changed to bass, walleye or northern pike only.

That was on the bay of the San Juan river on the border of Costa Rica and Nicaragua. Trolling in a dug out canoe. My fear of moving stairs is escalating!
