A MN man was watching his brother's 4 pit bulls. He was tossing a tennis ball playing with them when they suddenly attacked him. A neighbor witnessed the attack and called the authorities. The man was taken to Hennepin Memorial hospital where he later died of his injuries.

Having been an insurance agent for 56 years, I can tell you that pitbulls are number 1 on nearly all insurance companies most dangerous dogs list. I represented 16 different companies. Not a single one of them will write a homeowners policy on anyone owning a pit bull or anything crossed with one.

I have a friend who was visiting his brother in TX. On the last day of his visit, he was getting his brother's mail from the mailbox. He was attacked by 3 pit bulls that got out of a yard down the road. A good samaritan driving by jumped out of his pickup with a baseball bat. He beat the dogs off and managed to get my friend into his truck. He took him to the hospital. If the guy hadn't stopped, the dogs would probably have killed my friend. Big surprise, the owner of the dogs had no insurance.

Some years ago, there was a person from LA I believe it was, that owned pit bulls for hunting hogs. He said they were a great hog dog, but should never be trusted, especially around children.

This isn't the first example where a pit bull has killed someone in the Twin Cities.

I’ll say it, the problem was 4 Pit bulls together and they weren’t attacking each other. It was just a matter of time before they got tired of the ball.

I can't stand Pitt bulls and don't trust a one of them.

I hate to stereotype, but it seems that owners of Pitt bulls can be rough around the edges. A definite social group is more inclined to have Pitt bulls.

There’s millions of Pitbulls in the US. Once in a while one attacks a person. Some people love to gobble that up and post crap about how they should be exterminated.

Comparing guns to pitbulls is apples to oranges. Anyone with even a little common sense knows that.

Saying that pitbulls are more likely to attack and kill is like saying black people are more likely to commit violent crimes.... some people won't like to hear it, but that doesn't make it any less true.
