Didn’t Earth day become a Woke day?

No. A lot of people around here are going to be picking up trash but I decided to plant trees instead

Glad to hear it.

1st I'll be going to the annual roundup at the recycling center, this time disposing of an old computer monitor.

Happy Earth Day. I'll be digging leeks and horseradish this morning.

I will be cutting down trees and grinding stumps. I have one boxwood to plant.

Once the snow we got last night melts......I will figure out something to do outside.

I remember being part of the first Earth Day. I was in High School and we kind of sectored various areas to clean up around the community. I was the only one around that owned chest waders so wound up cleaning up a part of the Pewaukee River.

Most of my Farm is Hardwood Trees. Mostly Oak and Walnut. So I think I will put the horses in the yard and let them mow and Fertilize it.

Can't do much around here thanks to the couple inches of snow we just got. Temps still running 10-15 degrees below normal. Other than the 4 days of above normal temps we got a couple weeks ago, the past couple months have been below normal.

I got some of the kids from school to get up at 8:00 and work around the community picking up trash. I even found $11.00!

Getting late for horseradish. Better get it all dug soon.

I'll be composting apex predators today... and tomorrow.... and the next day.....

Selling fur all weekend.
And teaching the importance of good furbearer management to the General Public.

I usually spend earth day cutting trees down. Makes me feel like I am contributing.

I'll be pulling Garlic Mustard, Dame's Rocket and Greater Celandine while admiring the Toothworts, Bloodroots, Virginia Bluebells, and other spring ephemerals.

It's proving to be a great tree planting day
