Nothing outdoor related. Spent the day cooking and baking for the coming week as this is my long week at work... 6 10s out of the next 7 days.

Did plant a couple things outside too.

Checks game cameras. Cut out a lane for my hunting stand. Friend called an had some chickens killed last night or this morning. Seemed to be a mink . So now the mink needs to come back

Too much snow and ice here yet. I transplanted some pumpkins, cucumbers and apples that I started from seeds into small pots. Other than that, I worked in the garage cleaning and boxing up some gun junk that I sold and need to take to the PO tomorrow.

Ground Castor, planted 10 Fruit Trees and in process of making a raised veg garden. Next weekend season opens so I can keep walleye in front of the house.

Just listen to weather temps 20 below normal 50 - 60

I would take those temps! We are in the 30's here and still have 100% snow cover.

Checked sets this morning…nothing

Went at noon and helped burn a Wiregrass section. Didn’t take too long so afterwards we went fishing. Caught a few bass and killed a few snakes.

Got home and went walking with the wife to see if I was gonna have to kill a dog. The owner was home so it didn’t attack…this time. When it does, it will die. LEO’s have been notified.

Went to a gun auction

Rained all day....cooked breakfast....picked up some Layer Pellets

Cracked a few cold ones and watched my Bruins beat the bag off the Panthers.

Brined some 1 1/2 inch pork chops....and cooked them fah dinnah.

Have 2 Beaver nuisance areas to set up tomorrow or Tuesday.

Went through my traps and recoated them 2 weeks ago

Our Trout pond opener was yesterday ...so try to get in the big canoe next weekend

I found a custom planner board for trolling in the Fox River which happened to have the owners name on it. I called him up and he was as happy as a clam that an honest person found it and was getting it back to him. It is valued over $60.00.

Nailed up a turkey fan killed yesterday. Gave a coon caught in a live trap the swim test. Worked in the garden.

Finished chainsawing some trees around my food to open it up for more sunlight and put new line on my crappie rods.

Shot 2 red squirrels off the bird feeder. Rest of the day was spent cutting down a big burr oak to enlarge a foodplot/firewood.
Purdy pooped now. Enjoying a few cold beers,cooking supper and jamming to classic rock.

Smoke them and then can them. I am telling you! You will thank me later.

I actually did some shooting this morning. I went down to the neighbors and he, I and another friend patterned turkey loads and choke combos. Shot my AR and Sig P365X a bit and got to shoot the friend's new Sig P320-M17. I want one.

Pulled a beaver out of the brine and put it in the crock pot mid-morning

Helped my youngest daughter prep two garden beds at my place while the granddaughter did laps on the ATV. Later I did laps with the grandson.

My wife and I along with two daughters and two grandkids sat down to a beaver dinner.

I even found time to finish another french cleat clamp rack in the shop.

I was a good day.

Boys came up and we caught somewhere around 50 bass

I caught two coyotes before day break.


Killed a trap full of pigs at day break.


Caught two beaver after day break.

And put up a pile of fresh Rustoleum dipped 330’s.
