Hmmm pretty slow Sunday afternoon huh?

Obviously the fish aren't biting and there is still snow on the ground.

I would spend my time sharing the good news of Jesus Christ and how He died so that the dead might live. This brings joy and meaning to life! Life is tough but with a hope in Jesus and knowing the surety of ones salvation - the focus should no longer be on ourselves and our dilemmas of life - we should be concerned more about those who tonight might spend the rest of eternity in a (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) without the presence of God....See the house they live in IS on fire and they are burning up - will you help them escape or just worry about yourself as one who continues to exalt himself over another. My life is no longer my own. I serve a wonderful counselor, prince of peace, almighty one, I AM, and I love Him for who He is and giving me life.

I'll just log on to TMan and find out if my house is on fire or not, like I said on another post this is were I get all of my news and information. I'm sure if I just let it burn to the ground I can collect insurance. My property taxes will drop, win win situation. Move in to the TP and become a nomadic trapper again like I was in my last life. Or I could atenpt to defend my home from the fire by putting it out. But I'm retired and I don't deserve to have to exert that much energy to do somthing that's not my job. So I guess since no one can find anyone dependable to work these days I suppose my home is toast. What say U?

The problem is, currently not enough people's houses are on fire yet. Those who don't even own a house, and don't pay for much of their housing are happy as clams now. No worries. This situation will only get worse with who is in charge now (not democrats or republicans, but rather, the unelected bureaucracies which really are the ones running this country.)
That is why democrats keep coming up with all of the crazy "Santa Clause is in town, look what we have for you downtrodden schmucks today!"
These "downtrodden people" represent a huge portion of the democrat voting base. The next biggest voting block is the ones who sympathize with the downtrodden shtruggle (I meant to spell it that way. You are not truly down with the struggle unless you pronounce it "shtruggle" ).

Guess it depends on how often your house catches fire.

Sorta like the time we went on vacation and came home to a huge pecan tree split down the middle but still standing. Called the insurance company and they said not our problem even though “when” it falls it would go straight through the roof and land in the living room and kitchen area.
I told them fine, we’re about to go on another vacation and be picking out new floor plans for our new house they’ll be paying for.
They sent someone the very next day to evaluate the tree. Within 30secs of stepping out of his car he told me to find anyone and it didn’t matter the cost to have the tree removed. Good insurance goes a long way.
If my house was on fire I’d do everything I could to put it out…too many memories to lose to a fire. Raised my kids here and this is Papa’s and Ganny’s house.

Marty- say in definite terms how to fix your questions. You can't. The truth is you have spent too many years now fantasizing about some end of world times that will make you important and all your planning worth while. You are the problem with this world. Not the answer.

I am very happy not to agree with that....no fantasies here either but I imagine you think that having them is normal...as far as important that is something that I already am and I plan to stay that way.
