run OP trapper R Joined: Dec 2013 Posts: 14,867 Greene County,Virginia	I was attempting to do some research on USA made stepladders and stumbled onto Bauer ladders.com . Just curious if anyone has one. I have noticed that USA made ladders have almost disappeared. I spend a fair amount of my life climbing up and down ladders. I just wish I could find a retailer located in Virginia. I honestly didn't know that you could still buy new USA made step ladders and extension ladders. I have seen wooden stepladders USA made in Lancaster,PA. wanna be goat farmer.

roztocki trapper R Joined: Sep 2013 Posts: 195 ne iowa	I never tried or even heard of Bauer but I use Louisville ladders and would not even consider the cheap ones they sell at Home Depot or menards. I picked up my 40 footer at the local fastenal store. They are dealers and it was shipped in from one of their warehouses. Louisville makes high quality step ladders, just a suggestion.
