DaveP trapper D Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 5,015 MD	Was bulletproof til mid 50s. Sure, had aches and pains and took longer to recover, but still got it down. Tore my meniscus, slowed my down a bit, but kept chugging. Ruptured and bulged a few discs, and REALLY slowed me down. Actually, stopped me cold, left me on the floor for 43 hours until finally broke down and dialed 911. LOL, this is AFTER my son used a deer sled and some 2x12s to get me to and in the house. Just got injections in both shoulders 2 days ago and looking at surgery. Hardest part is mental, KNOWING I'm going to.go down again at some point and KNOWING there's some stuff that's just beyond my capabilities now, at least solo.

I like a Bobcat with a root grapple to clear brush and trees more than a chainsaw these days. Glad to be around still having fun and working on stuff at a slower pace.
