What would you invest in? I mean a business, stock, flipping, etc.. What would you do with $100,000 investment wise? I am really interested in your thought's based on the wide range of personnal experiences on this site.

I'm looking to invest near that amount. I really want land but farmland is now 5,000+ an acre and it won't payoff unless it continues to climb.

Right now a massive number of houses/cabins near me are short term air bnb style rentals, if we have a real recession those will be on the market shortly.

Yup, trade this 3/4 acre lot to close to Atlanta for 10+ acres in South Alabama.

You might look at wooded land with high timber value, know a fella that buys land and pays off a good portion of it with logging profits

I've thought of this, it's a dangerous game right now if you need to count on the logging within the next few years.

I'd give it to my financial advisor. Max out my Roth and have the rest put in my brokerage account.

I put it into JEPI, 11% yearly divided, pays monthly

The booze might not pay long term dividends, but, the women might.

Like many others, I'd purchase land. Currently, that would only buy about 9 or 10 acres, but I'd buy adjoining land for pasture (lowered taxation) and mainly to keep some rich Californian from building a mcMansion in my viewshed. On the other hand, I might buy booze and women with about $75,000 and just blow the rest.

Keep the idea's coming. In response to other posts I did buy 100 acres of farm land that I rent out which is paid off as is my home, business, and a rental home.

Buy more TPB stock. Severely undervalued at the moment. Disclaimer, I’m in it heavy at this time.

First thing I would get it out of the bank. Then prepaid for what may be coming.

I got hosed by a bank in the early 80’s (FDIC Takeover)and have ran my business without a banks line or loans every since!

I’m guessing you must live in the non ag northern parts of the state if $100k would get 100. The price of dirt has gone from $7500 to $10000 acre around here in last two years as the larger operation bid it up against each other. I’ve been sitting this run out for about five years with a decent sized cash reserve and just looking and it niw seems like I’ll probably end up making a move a greater distance thsn first planned
