Nice John!!

I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

Our lakes are still frozen up tight here. I am itching to try my hand at this Spring Beaver trapping but open water is hard to come by.

I have nothing clever to put here.

Fillet, skin and remove the Y bones from those two pike and then rinse the fillets in several changes of water to get rid of any slime and they will taste as good as the walleyes.

not open till the weekend here

last Friday we took the boat on a shake down run to the lake everything was working well , now one was catching a thing not us or any of the other boats at the launch

they were hauling out a semi trailer load of carp when we got there so that may have effected the fishing they ran a net across about half the lake , not a big lake but on a shake down run it is good to not go real far and this lake sits low in the hills so not to much wind

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

Thats a good haul John, Wish I lived closer to you. Been some years since I have Walleye fished. Good sized pike also. Could make some great pickled fish with them.

"I think pike taste better than walleye to be honest."

I'll grab Pike first off the serving platter.
Like the taste and the texture.
Walleyes are not to be Discredited in anyway.
Just my preference.

I can't argue with that. I should have said "As good or better".
