I have a bunch of old Sears & Robuck and also Montgomery Wards shotgun shells that still shoot fine.

Cool find, I didn't know Montgomery Wards had their own ammo brand. The Hiawatha brand I've seen the boxes before.

And "shorts" to boot. A useful and far better round for kids to be using than LR.

Not many repeaters that will handle shorts these days and not many shorts to be found if you had one.

I believe the Montgomery Ward's ammo is rebranded shells obviously....Kind of like the Ted Williams stuff & Sears ammo that Sears sold.

Yup,,,same as the guns they sold.I had an old Montgomery Wards single shot .22,,,but I think it was actualy made by Stevens for Wards.

I like the price tags

I collect the old .22 and shotshell boxes mainly. I love the old price marked on them. I thought some of you would get a kick out of them. The boxes are full and the .410 box is still sealed.

I can't see these exact shells as the box is still sealed. The shells would be paper with a rolled crimp. Plastic shell casings started in 60s
