Fireplug OP trapper Joined: May 2019 Posts: 346 Finger Lakes region, NY	There's an old guy who owns a small trapping shop near me, finally decided to retire. He has a bunch of Johnny Thorpe's # 1 lure. Anyone have any experience with it? I grabbed one bottle ( $ 4.00 I think). I might have to go back with mad money, he's selling 3 1/2 # spools of wire, from 16 up to 9 gauge, for $ 3.00 a roll.

He sold the line to Jack Beyers from Michigan........John Epler used to carry some of Johnny's earlier lure line that he sold years ago, from what I was told Mike Marsyada was building them for Epler..........not sure what your looking at but would be interested in knowing and acquiring some. My hero's have always been trappers
