I use at my work.
Head shots on ground squirrels out to 65 yards...too easy under 50.
Must use the correct pellet though...very picky.
Mine like the JB Barracudas..I forget the weight.

The barracuda is an awesome and accurate pellet. 21.7 grain i believe is what I use. This was during different pellet tests at 40 yards. Air venturi avenger pcp.

Ive been following this thread and my interest is peaked. How do most of you fill your PCP guns? How long can you leave the gun pressurized for?

Gun stays pressured forever, that helps seals stay in place. I fill from an scba tank in the field or straight from compressor at the fire station.

Would a standard compressor do? I got a rol-air 2hp 4 gal. Is that enough?

No, you need a compressor that can go up to 4500psi

It takes a high pressure compressor. They run 3000+ PSI. By the time you buy a compressor and a gun and scope you could but about any good bolt gun. You are talking $1000 and up. $1000 gets you the bottom end. I am not sure if there is a top end. Maybe $6000

You can get into a decent pcp with $500 . You don't need to buy a compressor, all you need is an scba tank and a firefighter buddy.

I have a RWS model 94 (Spanish made)Very nice finish and shoots very well once broke in. Have shot starlings out to 90 yds.I shoot the stems off of poplar buds for practice. It is a single (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) spring air type. I will say pick one type of pellet and stick with it. Also, dont clean the barrel. If you do, you will have to season it back in.

I have a RWS Daina break barrel, package deal from Pyramid Air. They were very helpful in the scope and pellet options. Nothing but fun. Lousy starlings
