The group was formed by a lady that I believe moved here from Connecticut. They would really like all hunting and trapping banned. The Democrats have a veto proof majority in the VT legislature, and they are trying to ban Trapping, Bear and Coyote hunting with hounds. You can check them out on their website www.ProtectOurWildlifeVT.org They took out a quarter page add in the ADDISON COUNTY INDEPENDENT paper in Middlebury, VT on May 11. It reads BEAR HOUND TRAINING STARTS ON JUNE 1st. THEIR LIVES WILL BE IN DANGER. Underneath a picture of a sow and cubs. Then they ask you to become a Vermont bear advocate and join them.
