I’ve taken my fingers to the drill press before to relieve the pressure, there’s times you can’t drill it fast enough.

Snapped a chalk line on my new dock decking and was trimming some boards with a Skill saw. Saw was in my right hand and I was catching the trimmed pieces with my left Sawed right into my left index finger. Went to the local clinic and both doctors were there. Took six hands to fix me. Wife had to hold a hemostat on an artery. Two doctors put my index finger back in place. Saved it. Been numb ever since but it works. Ain't pretty. Freezes during hunting season.

Didn't look as bad as Savell's though. Still have a saw blade groove in the bone.

I slowly and carefully carve a notch in the nail with a razor sharp knife. I can't get past the idea of shoving red hot poker through nail that is already killing me.

if it was e-z the weak would do it..I had some pain today also.

Once you drill the nail and get the pressure off, wrap it loosely in gauze and soak it with a 50/50 mix of glycerin and rubbing alcohol, put a small plastic bag over it and tape it shut. Leave it over night and in the morning you can tap it on the table with no pain.

and toes take forever to finally grow out
