I bet most people could get rid of it without getting a 2 man crew of drawing up a eradication plan . Heck I almost bet the guys wife can take a gal of ready to use round up and get rid of it with one hand !!!!!

see you seem to assume he has like 5 trees and they cut it once

I just laid out a scale-able plan for 1 to 5000

a 1 quart bottle of tordon can do a lot of stumps

the scale of honey suckle can go from little to out of control easily and it wasn't specified.
but if your asking how to get rid of something that keeps coming back I figure it has gotten bad.

not everyone likes pouring money on their yard like uncle Jbyrd a pre mixed jug of roundup is running around 30 dollars if your talking 4-5 feet of vegetation grown up around each of even 5 trees your going to need more than one jug of premix.

not sure where you get your round up but it doesn't work miracles on woody vegetation for me

if you have a bunch of vegetation sticking out around the trees your going to cut it anyway why not use a lot less of the herbicide in a surgical strike rather than carpet bomb the entire area

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

Since it was his yard I figured he was MOWING it. Shouldn't be very much "woody" vegetation in his yard.

Heck I thought everyone knew to hit all the walmarts in October !!! They mark it down because Christmas goes where lawn and garden was during the summer. Premixed round up for 3.00 gal clearance. Concentrate 10 bucks for half gal. Heck I got 6 50 lbs of crab grass preventer for 15 bucks a bag. Tons of weed control for lawns that is applied with a hose for 2.00 up to 4.00

At a forestry seminar I attended, they told me to use Garlon 4 via cut stump treatment on honeysuckle
