NC voters approved an amendment requiring voter ID. Courts said it was racist and threw it out. Now the ruling is back, sort of. All voters will be asked to supply an ID but those who do not provide one, get to vote a provisional ballot.

Whether or not the amendment is racist (It is not)...The bigger problem here is activist judges trumping the will of the people.

This has to stop, and there must be severe consequences when they pull a move like that.

What is actually racist, is assuming that because of someones race they are somehow incapable of acquiring a simple ID card, or not able to understand what is required to cast a legal ballot.

A lot of places require some kind of a ID to keep people honest but somehow its racist to protect the vote? Total BS it is just protecting the cheat is the only reason they try to use the race card VS common sense, I don’t know a person that does not have some form of ID if you don’t drive get a State ID.

I think it is Racist when Demonrats claim that Minorities are to stupid to get an ID to vote. Minorities should feel degraded.

Maybe we could require an ID for someone to register. That way, there is no excuse to show up at the pole without an ID.

Minnesota just legalized drivers license to illegal aliens, That way they can use that to register vote, There is no stopping it. More states have done this also.

There is a segment of the population of North Carolina that will be told to refuse to show an ID. They will all get provisional ballots, all the provisional ballots will be counted and added into the regular vote with no verification of the legality of the voter. Until the regulation that was passed is enforced as written having to show an ID won't make a bit of difference on election day.

If Im not mistaken, the state will provide a free ID.
