I did this once before...
I have a song in mind that I'll give clues to. You guess the song.
I'll give clues to the band first, followed by clues/lyrics of the song I'm thinking of.
Try to guess instead of google , what fun is that? lol
1 rule....you can only take a guess on every other clue I give. Guess on second clue, you can't guess until 4th clue, ect..
Clue #1
Mostly a 5 piece band. One guitarist quit and formed another successful band that had hits also.
Th latest front man/vocalist plated the keyboard.

Its a Canadian rock band that had hits in the '60's- '70's. Stilled played on radio.
One of the lyrics......"we're gonna get it on right tonight".

Ok, this band can be considered Canadian/American.
One of the members killed himself and he wasn't replaced. (That I know of)
They were on the '"Festival Express" around '70.
That's a hint to the band, but not the song.
The song, Spike Jones was on the box.
