Ok it’s not a world record but it’s a very large possum I’ve only caught about three this large.

I caught one once that went 11lbs. (a monster) and we used a small coon board to stretch it. Sent to NAFA during the high fur years and got 16.00 for it. Went to the Nationals and up to the NAFA booth asking why I did not get a Top Lot Cert. for it and could I please get a hat for my son as he finished the critter. Got the funniest look from the fellow at the computer and as he slowly raised his head and said with a chuckle 'We don't give hats for opossums !". Crushed, I went away and consoled myself by buying more 220's. Still hurts..... the mike

I had a guy tell me that wherever a 'possum opens it's mouth, it's bluffing and that it won't actually bite you.

So I opened the door of a cage trap and told him to reach in there and pull out the 'possum out
