Warmed up on those and then moved on to the big stuff Was a little over 9’ and 225 pounds Live each day as if it were your last. We know not at which hour it will come. Watching his eyes as the reel got empty, knowing he had to get it all back. The charter we used sold it. Live each day as if it were your last. We know not at which hour it will come. WhiteCliffs trapper W Joined: Feb 2022 Arkansas	Nice trip. Mahi some dang good eating fish. I prefer saltwater fish over most freshwater for eating. Probably headed for Hawaii next year - after shortbilled spearfish - the last of the nine billfish world slam for me.

Slick Pan trapper S Joined: Feb 2020 MT	I know a lot of charters sell the fish in Hawaii. I think that is wrong and would NEVER fish on one that did. My son went a couple years ago and that was the only piece of advice I offered. He found a charter that let them keep what they caught. Nothing better than some char grilled mahi mahi. Thanks for the photos !

Thanks for the photos ! Most of the charters I have been on would not keep a marlin unless it died during the fight - not even in Costa Rica or Mexico. But, everywhere is a little different. When in Rome.
